About me
I am an experienced psychologist who takes a warm and non-judgemental approach which is tailored to suit your individual needs, circumstances, and goals. I maintain a caseload of forensic and non-forensic clients for psychological assessment, treatment, and the provision of court reports.
I have a special interest in forensic issues, particularly criminal matters but also extending to civil, family, and compensable court matters. My experience as a psychologist includes working with offenders in men’s and women’s correctional centres and juveniles in youth detention centres. I also work with youth and adult offenders in community settings, including rural, remote, and Aboriginal communities. I have worked for government departments and as a private practitioner and consultant.
My experiences working with offenders has also connected me with victims and family members who require support to navigate the impacts of crime or other legal proceedings in a trauma-informed and compassionate manner. I create a safe space for you to share and process your story so as you can move towards healing.
I am fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as well as a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology, and the Law (ANZAPPL). I am the Secretary of the Queensland Branch of ANZAPPL.
